Galleries and Member Shows

At the GCC we believe that all artists have a voice and a vision. We strive to provide opportunities for all members, from the beginner to the advanced artist, to show their work and enrich the community through art. 

We partner with regional art centers and galleries to host exhibitions and shows that are open to all members.

The Harris Arts Center Show

212 S Wall St, Calhoun, GA

This show is open to all members of the GCC. 

​Important dates:

  • Drop off:

    • Friday, June 27th 4-6 p.m.

    • Saturday, June 28th 10-12 noon

    • Need to drop off another day or time? Call them for an appointment. 

  • Reception:

    • Sunday, July 13th 3-4:30pm

  • Pick up:

    • Friday, August 29th 4-6

    • Saturday, August 30th 10-12 noon

Exhibition Agreement Form to the right, above.

  1. Please print, fill out, and send a copy to GAClayCouncil@gmail.com so the Harris Art Center can print the labels for the show in advance.

  2. Bring your printed copy with you when you drop your pieces off.

To print, use the printer symbol in the upper right corner. To download to your computer, use the arrow down symbol in upper right corner next to the print button. 

​

  • Please note that there are 5 spots on the form. If you have more pieces you can submit the form again to have multiple pieces in the show.

  • Wall pieces must be wired for hanging.

  • Table pieces can weigh up to 75 lbs.

  • Before drop off, tag each piece with the artist name, title, and price $ or NFS. 

  • The Harris Arts Center has a commission rate of 30% for non-member sales, or 20% for members.

Drop Off Dates:

Tuesday, October 28th and Wednesday, October 29th from 12 noon - 5:00 pm. both days.

Monday, October 27th by appointment only. 

Pick-up Dates:

Saturday, November 22nd, Tuesday, November 25th, and Wednesday, November 26th. 12 noon - 5:00 pm. each day.

Monday, November 24th by appointment only. Note Thursday, November 27th is Thanksgiving.

2025 Menagerie on Main

Submissions for Jury

For each piece submitted, upload 1 image for each 2D (wall hanging) piece and 2 images for each 3D (pedestal or table) piece.

3D pieces will be displayed on 12"x12" pedestals against the wall, so pieces should be limited to 11" deep, to avoid overhanging into the hall or walkway.

Do not include any identifying words, logos, or signs in your images. Thank you!
