Leather and Clay:
A beautiful Combination
with Tom Slavicek
September 6 & 7, 2025
​Students will use various techniques and types of leather to integrate with their own clay pieces.
Techniques to be taught can include colorizing leather and accents, using a pyrography tool on leather, decorating clay pots/mugs/bowls with leather accents, wrinkled leather technique, marbled leather coloring technique, and more.

Tom will provide individualized instruction for students based on their pieces and goals. Since this workshop is student led based on individual projects, the workshop has a limited number of participant spots. Please register early.
​
Students can also make a leather shoulder bag. Tom has pre-cut and pre-punched bag pieces for you. You will choose the colors and types of leathers you want for the bag, stitch it, and decorate it.
